Which hyaluronic acid treatments are suitable for which areas?

Hyaluronic acid injection treatments can be used to:27,62,66,75

  • Correct wrinkles, whether they be fine lines, deep set folds or creases
  • Create volume in targeted areas or recover volume in wide areas
  • Deeply hydrate and improve the tone and firmness of your skin

Hyaluronic acid treatments are not permanent and can last up to 18 months.31,71,75,79

Nevertheless, the average duration of treatment depends on several factors: our skin type, the severity of the wrinkle/fold to be corrected, the type of injection and the volume of product injected.75

To better nourish the skin from within, mesotherapy and skin/beauty boosters may be used alone as a treatment. However, when used in conjunction with dermal fillers they produce outstanding treatment results.62

Hyaluronic acid injections for the upper face

Although botulinum toxin injections are usually used to treat the upper face, very good results are observed with newer generation Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers, mesotherapy and skin/beauty boosters.

  • Eye area 27,66,75

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are an excellent option to correct fine lines and superficial wrinkles in sensitive areas such as the crow’s feet and eyebrows.

If your first wrinkles are starting to appear around your eyes, a skin booster may be your answer to improve skin quality and recover a healthy glow looking.

To refresh and rejuvenate tired looking eyes, injection of fillers into the tear trough is a quick and effective procedure. Indeed, HA gels have been specifically designed (lightweight with minimal gel swelling to reduce the risk of adverse effects) for natural looking result and long-term correction of this difficult to treat area.8

  • Forehead and glabella 27,62,66,75

For wrinkles in the forehead and glabella, good aesthetic results can be obtained with dermal fillers, mesotherapy and skin boosters.

After treatment, the skin in this area will be smoother and firmer due to improved hydration.

Hyaluronic acid injections for the midface

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, mesotherapy and skin boosters can all be used to treat the midface.

  • Cheeks27,29,62,66

Volumising the cheeks has an extraordinary rejuvenation effect. As mentioned elsewhere, with time, the facial triangle of a young face gets reversed, and the volume that was once on the midface moves down reversing the orientation of this triangle of youth.

The simplest and quickest way to restore the lost volume in your cheeks is with Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers that are specially formulated to replenish volume.27,29

Besides restoring volume in the midface, superficial lines and wrinkles, such as accordion lines, can also be treated with dynamic HA filler to improve skin surface texture, radiance and hydration.29,66

Mesotherapy and skin/beauty boosters can also be used in this area to improve skin surface texture, radiance and hydration.

  • Nasolabial folds27,29,66

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are the best treatment option to plump up the skin under nasolabial folds. They restore the lost volume and soften the appearance of creases, providing noticeable and natural looking results.27,66

Hyaluronic acid injections for the lower face

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, mesotherapy and skin/beauty boosters can be used to treat the lower face.

  • Lips27,66,78,104-106

Full lips have always symbolised glamour and sensuality, especially in women. It is no wonder that lip augmentation remains one of the most requested aesthetic treatment, in young and old patients alike.

With age, your lips lose their fullness and definition: they become narrow, pale, and flat.

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are ideal to replenish the volume lost and re-establish the pleasing aesthetic look of well proportioned and voluminous lips.

  • Marionette lines27,26,66

The downturned lines at the corners of your mouth, known commonly as marionette or puppet lines, are the result of the loss of structural support in this area.
These changes contribute to a sad, angry, tired, or simply unnatural appearance, over time.
There are a few options for softening the appearance of marionette lines. One of the possible option available is to simply fill the lines with HA dermal fillers

By using dermal fillers to replace the lost volume in your skin, it is possible to dramatically reduce and smooth the appearance of marionette lines.

Hyaluronic acid injections for the lower face and neck area

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, mesotherapy and skin/beauty boosters can be used to treat the lower face.

  • Chin27,29,62,66

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers can provide a successful and long-lasting treatment effect in this area. Even with a modest amount of filler, your chin can have a noticeable improvement. Mesotherapy and skin/beauty boosters can also be used to improve elasticity and overall hydration on the skin of our chin.

  • Jawline27,29,66

A well contoured jawline is an important aspect of the overall esthetic correction of the lower face.
Hyaluronic acid fillers can be used to safely and effectively reshape and contour the jawline, as well as restore volume loss to create a younger-  looking appearance.

  • Neck and décolletage29,62,66

With age, the skin on your neck loses collagen, elastin and fat. Necklines appear initially fine but with time, they get deeper. The skin on your décolletage starts looking crepey. The creases in this area can be treated very easily and with great results using HA fillers.

Mesotherapy and skin/beauty boosters can also be used to give the skin on your neck and décolletage a nice glow, a fresher look, and deep hydration.
